20+ Years of Bringing Successful Games to Market

Most people know me for planning and running the marketing for the launch of League of Legends, then running Riot's Publishing for over 10 years, but my career spans over 20 years in gaming.


I started as a programmer making racing games, got my MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern), and then worked as a Global Brand Manager launching Guitar Hero titles at Activision | Blizzard. 


At Riot, I was one of the first 50 employees and launched League of Legends on a shoe-string budget as a new IP from an unknown publisher, through building a dedicated core community of advocates and influencers.


I scaled the Riot Publishing team from a scrapy two-man squad into a professional organization with over 100 people in communications, brand,  community, eCommerce, esports, and creative. As the Head of Publishing, I setup the Go To Market teams for Valorant, Legends of Runeterra and Wildrift.


At both Improbable and Frost Giant where I led the publishing teams, I created a go-to-market team and launched game (Scavengers and Stormgate respectively) into Early Access and through the product lifecycle on Steam.
